A new partner for Arts & Crafts businesses

Arts & Crafts is the second channel to be launched within ActSmart, and continues the evolution of our unique business community for independent retailers.

The aim of the ActSmart Arts & Crafts channel is to give independent retailers (and associated businesses) in the sector the opportunity to benefit from our existing range of proven products and services, as well as grow and develop the ActSmart community with your involvement.

We hope you'll be able to take advantage of all the business resources we already offer, as well as help us create new products and services which can benefit your own business as well as the channel as a whole.

ActSmart offers businesses in all the diverse areas of the industry new opportunities to benefit at the bottom line, and new ways to promote their interests and join our wider network of specialist independent retailers.

The development of the Arts & Crafts channel came about after we were contacted by Design Objectives back in early 2007. D.O wanted to bring something new to the sector and add further value to their relationships with independent retailers. Following meetings with the team at D.O we recognised they were serious and very committed to their independent retailers.

Attendance at trade events and meetings with retailers highlighted the demand for the kind of resources and services which ActSmart offers, plus the passion and innovation which exists in this very diverse sector.
